Travel has always been a huge part of my life. I live in Newfoundland and Labrador with my husband, and over the years I’ve built a career helping others explore the world while feeding my own curiosity about different cultures, people, and places.
As a travel advisor for more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of planning unforgettable journeys for clients, with a special love for Europe and cruising. But travel isn’t just my profession, it’s my favorite hobby. I love dreaming about trips, researching destinations, and of course experiencing them firsthand.
For the past eight years, we’ve welcomed international students from around the world into our home, creating friendships and connections that have enriched our lives in countless ways. I’ve also taught English online to students from many different countries, experiences that have deepened my appreciation for cultural exchange and lifelong learning.
What I love most about travel isn’t always the famous landmarks or bucket-list attractions. Often, it’s the unexpected moments, the conversations with locals, the friendships formed, and the little discoveries that happen when you’re open to the experience. I believe travel is about staying curious, embracing adventure, and saying yes to opportunities that come your way.
If there’s one piece of advice I always share, it’s this: put down your phone once in a while, look up, and truly take in the world around you. The best memories often happen when you least expect them.
