If you would like the double occupancy rate but don’t have a roommate, we will match you with a suitable roommate. The single occupancy rate will give you your own room. Optional Pre-Cruise Tour – 1 Night Chantilly, 2 Nights Reims

Day 1 – Chantilly
Arrive in Chantilly and check into your hotel. This evening, meet your Cruise Manager and fellow travellers at a welcome reception, followed by a three-course dinner. (D)

Day 2 – Chantilly to Reims
Travel to Reims in the Champagne region, stopping at the stunning Château de Chantilly to explore its grand architecture, art collection, and gardens. Continue to Reims, check into your hotel, and enjoy a guided city tour, including views of the famous Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral. (B)

Day 3 – Reims / Champagne Region
Discover the Champagne region along the scenic Route du Champagne, passing through renowned areas such as Épernay and Hautvillers, and learning about the history behind this iconic sparkling wine. (B)

Day 4 – Reims to Luxembourg (Embarkation)
Travel to Luxembourg and enjoy a guided walking tour along with a visit to the American Cemetery and Memorial. After free time for lunch, continue to Wasserbillig to board your river cruise ship. (B,D)

Optional Pre-Cruise Tour – 3 Nights Paris

Day 1 – Paris
Arrive in Paris and check in to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to begin exploring the city at your own pace.

Day 2 – Paris
Take in the highlights of Paris on a guided morning tour, including views of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, and more, followed by free time to explore.

Day 3 – Paris
Visit the artistic district of Montmartre, including the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, and enjoy an evening illumination tour showcasing Paris beautifully lit at night.

Day 4 – Paris to Luxembourg (Embarkation)
Travel by high-speed train to Luxembourg. Enjoy a guided walking tour and visit the American Cemetery and Memorial before boarding your river cruise ship.

Optional Post-Cruise Tour – 2 Nights Lake Lucerne, 2 Nights Zurich

Day 1 – Basel / Lake Lucerne
Disembark your ship in Basel and enjoy a highlights tour of this vibrant Swiss city before transferring to Lake Lucerne. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening at leisure. (B)

Day 2 – Lake Lucerne
Explore Lucerne’s historic charm, including its well-preserved medieval walls and towers dating back to the 13th century, along with time to enjoy the scenic lake and surroundings. (B)

Day 3 – Lake Lucerne to Zurich
Enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Lucerne followed by an excursion to Mount Rigi, where you’ll ascend by cable car for breathtaking panoramic views. Continue by motorcoach to Zurich and check into your hotel. (B)

Day 4 – Zurich
Discover Zurich on a guided city tour, exploring its historic old town, lakeside setting, and blend of traditional and modern culture. (B)

Day 5 – Depart Zurich
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (B)

Tour Host

Women’s Travel Club tours are hosted tours. Your tour host is in addition to local tour guides. Your Women’s Travel Club tour host is your tour concierge and there to make sure every part of the tour runs smoothly. Our trained hosts are seasoned travelers who are with you every step of your tour so that you only have to worry about enjoying yourself and having fun.
The Women’s Travel Club Tour host for this tour is Donna Hearn.

Should the minimum not be met, rest assured you will still be in excellent hands. The tour will continue with expert local guides who are passionate about sharing their destination and are committed to delivering an exceptional and seamless experience.  Donna Hearn will remain as your virtual tour host.

Roommate Matching Policy

Roommate matching is done as a courtesy, and while most matches result in wonderful friendships, success is not guaranteed. If during the tour you decide you would no longer like to share a room with your roommate you will need to request (and pay for) a single room at all accommodations. This can be shared between the two people in the room if it is a mutual decision. If you are a very light sleeper or snore you may want to consider getting your own single room.

Depart from Basel, Basel-Mulhouse International Airport (BSL) on the last day of the cruise May 19.

Pre-cruise extension
Arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) on or before May 9.

Post-cruise extension
Depart from Zurich Airport (ZRH) on or after May 23.
