A universal all-in-one travel adapter (can be purchased from retailers like Amazon) will allow you to plug in and charge most electronic devices. Most electronic devices have built-in converters. However, if you plan to use North American appliances like hair dryers, flat irons or curling irons you will need a converter.
On the Islands of Tahiti there are two associated plug types, types C and E. Type C plugs have two round pins and type E plugs have two round pins and a hole for the socket’s male earthing pin. The Islands of Tahiti operate on a 220V supply voltage and 60Hz.
