I live in Westchester Station, Nova Scotia, with my husband Dave, but my roots will always be in Newfoundland and Labrador. Born in Newfoundland and raised in Labrador, I have a deep connection to the rugged beauty, strong communities, and outdoor lifestyle that shaped who I am today.
Family has always been at the centre of my life. Dave and I are proud parents and grandparents, and some of my favourite moments are spent gathered around a campfire, out on the water, or enjoying time together at our cottage in Western Arm, Newfoundland.
I’ve always been happiest outdoors. Whether I’m hiking, skiing, boating, fishing, ATVing, camping, snowmobiling, or simply exploring nature, I love staying active and embracing every season. That same adventurous spirit has carried over into my travels.
Over the years, I’ve explored destinations throughout the Caribbean and Europe, but some of my most memorable adventures have come through the Women’s Travel Club. From the Galápagos Islands and Ecuador to Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Japan, each journey has introduced me to incredible wildlife, fascinating cultures, and inspiring women from around the world.
What I love most about travel isn’t just the places themselves. It’s the people you meet, the stories you share, and the friendships that develop along the way. Every trip teaches me something new, and I’m always excited to see where the next adventure leads.
